Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and reliability of the production processes at their York, PA facility. Projects You’ll Work On:
- Inventory Management: Use Oracle software for spare parts tracking, perform monthly audits, and maintain MRO inventory accuracy.
- Safety Initiatives: Participate in and lead safety programs while promoting a culture of accountability.
- Equipment Reliability: Troubleshoot industrial systems, including electrical and pneumatic controls, and conduct root cause analyses (RCA) to minimize downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborative Upgrades: Work with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective repairs.
- Facility Organization: Uphold 5S standards to maintain clean and efficient working environments.
What Experience You Should Bring:
- Education: High School Diploma required; technical school or college coursework is a plus.
- Professional Background: At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, welding, pneumatics, electrical, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with packaging equipment is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong time management, interpersonal communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certifications: OSHA safety training and an understanding of environmental compliance are desirable.
